ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Ashley!
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
I was born and raised in Alpine, Utah, deep in what many would call the "Mormon bubble". I was basically the poster child for Mormonism, and a very devout member of the church for 25 years of my life.
After graduating from BYU in 2016, I felt a pull toward something different, which led me to UNLV’s Couple and Family Therapy program. That experience expanded my world in ways I didn’t expect. In December 2019, less than two weeks after graduating with my master’s degree, I made the decision to step away from the LDS/Mormon church.
In 2023, I was diagnosed as AuDHD, which is something that brought me a new level of clarity and self-understanding. My diagnoses now deeply inform both my personal life and my work as a therapist.

about Ashley V. Therapy
I created my therapy practice to help people have a safe space to process through any kind of trauma they have survived. While working through trauma can be an incredibly empowering and freeing experience, it can also be very lonely and scary. You do not have to work through your trauma alone, I am here to help.
